Shank 2 Change Language

Keep in mind that not all games offer every language, so you might not find your preferred language available.


Solution: Shank 2 separates voice language from subtitle/menu language. In the game’s main menu (if you can navigate it), go to Options (usually a gear icon). Look for Subtitles or Text Language. Set it to match your chosen language. If you are stuck in a foreign menu, use a translator app on your phone to find the correct button.

  • Once you see your desired language, press Enter or Apply (often a checkmark button at the bottom right).
  • The game may ask for a restart – confirm with “Yes” (usually left option).
  • Pro tip: If you are completely lost, open a video walkthrough on your phone showing the Shank 2 language menu and mimic the button presses. Keep in mind that not all games offer

    When inside the language selection screen, use the right arrow repeatedly until you see the flag or text you recognize.


    Use native-language names alongside English:

  • Change the text inside the quotes to english. The line should look exactly like this:

  • Save the file and close Notepad.
  • Launch the game. It should now be in English.
