Remove the foam packaging. Do not throw away the foam blocks—you will need them if you ever ship the printer for service. Manually rotate the Z-axis lead screws. They should turn smoothly. If you feel grinding, there is shipping debris in the nut.
The manual suggests replacing the nozzle. Usually, the cause is different: The left heat sink fan is failing. Because the left extruder is used more often, its cooling fan weakens first. If the fan doesn't spin at 100%, heat creeps up and softens the filament. Fix: Replace the 24V 40x40x10mm fan.

Remove Packaging: Take out the protective foam and cut the plastic ties securing the extruders. Ensure you remove the belt fixing clips from both sides of the Y-axis.
