Before you learn how to unlock everything, you must understand the game’s core mechanic: The Five Valleys.

The game is split into four environments (Rollercoaster Lagoon, Dirt Canyon, International Stadium, and Down & Dirty Valley) plus a Super Solo mode. To unlock the next set of tracks, you do not need to finish first. You simply need to earn a medal.

Here is the trap: To unlock Black Series tracks, you must get at least a Bronze medal on every single Red track. To get to Red, you need Bronze on every Blue. This creates a pyramid.

The "Unlock All Tracks" shortcut: You do not need Gold or Trackmaster medals to progress. You only need Bronze. If you are trying to 100% the game, you are playing a different game. If you just want to see the Black Series, play sloppily. A sloppy Bronze (finishing the lap within the very generous time limit) counts the same as a World Record.

Most players try to get Gold on every track sequentially. This burns you out. Instead, play every single track from White to Red with the sole goal of getting Bronze.

To unlock the next track, you do not need a Gold medal. You only need one medal per track (Bronze, Silver, or Gold). However, to advance to the next Series (e.g., from Blue to Red), you must collect a specific number of Trackmasters (Gold medals) or a total number of medals.

Here is the exact breakdown per environment (Canyon, Valley, Lagoon, Stadium):

Total: 4 environments × 45 tracks (White to Red) + 5 Black tracks = 200 tracks.

To unlock all tracks, you need to earn 200 Gold medals (one on every single track prior to the Black series).

Ask any Trackmania Turbo veteran: Lagoon is the environment where unlock attempts die. The physics are slippery, the cars are bouncy, and the track edges are unforgiving. Most players abandon their quest to unlock all tracks around Lagoon Blue Series.

If you are stuck here, do not look for a cheat—look for a strategy change.

This is where most players get stuck. After earning all Golds in an environment, you will have 150 medals. To reach 200, you need 50 Trackmaster medals (one per track). That means beating the developer’s ghost time on every single track in that environment.
