You are at home, but your Tally 7.2 is at the office. By syncing your data folder to Google Drive, you can download the latest backup to a laptop and open it locally. (Note: Tally 7.2 cannot run directly from a mapped Google Drive letter due to latency, but you can copy/paste).

Inside your Google Drive root, create a new folder:

Then create subfolders by date or company, for example: tally 7.2 google drive

Tally7.2_Backups\Current_Week
Tally7.2_Backups\Archived_Months

Now, every time Tally saves a transaction, Google Drive will detect the change and sync it within minutes.
