Database option: For most environments, choose Embedded database (SQLite) for simplicity. For >200 clients, point to an existing SQL Server instance.

Enter your license file (.slf or .srf). If you don’t have one, the software will run in 60-day trial mode—but SEP 14.2 requires a valid license key from Broadcom.

Set the management console administrator password.

Define web console port (default 9090).

Complete the installation and reboot if required.
