Realtek provides generic drivers for the RTL8192SU chipset. These work perfectly with the UWA-BR100.
Steps:
Key File: AutoInstall-SU.exe or Install_Win10_1065.0.0618.2019.zip (version numbers vary). Realtek provides generic drivers for the RTL8192SU chipset
In Device Manager, right-click the unknown device → Update driver → Browse my computer → Let me pick from a list.
Uncheck Show compatible hardware → Scroll to Ralink Technology, Corp. → Select Ralink 802.11n Wireless LAN Card. Key File: AutoInstall-SU
If not listed, click Have Disk → browse to the extracted .inf file (e.g., netr28.inf).
Ignore any “driver not signed” warnings (press Install anyway). In Device Manager , right-click the unknown device
Surprisingly, if you have a clean Windows 10 installation (version 1809 or earlier), plugging in the UWA-BR100 and running Windows Update might fetch a driver.
Note: This option may not appear on Windows 10 21H2 and newer.
