Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, Sita Ramam is set in 1964. The story follows Lieutenant Ram (Dulquer Salmaan), an orphaned army officer stationed in Kashmir. He begins receiving mysterious love letters from an anonymous woman named "Sita." To stop the nuisance, he decides to find her—only to fall deeply in love with her when they finally meet.
However, the fairy tale is shattered by war and circumstance. Flash forward to 1985: Ram is declared a traitor, and a Pakistani Muslim law student named Afreen (Rashmika Mandanna) takes on a mission to deliver a final letter from Ram to his wife, Sita. The narrative weaves through patriotism, faith, and undying love.
