Rugby 08 Controller Mapping Patched -
This is the #1 issue with patched versions. The patch removes DirectInput support for the second stick.
Fix:
Cause: The game is using the default DirectInput mapping, not the patched XInput profile.
Fix: Ensure Rugby08.exe is the patched version (check file size/modified date). Delete any old input.ini files. In-game, select “Custom (XInput)” not “Logitech” or “Generic”.

Note for PS5 users: The "Patched" version resolves the notorious trigger bug where the kick meter would not fill. Your adaptive triggers will act as standard analog triggers.

Do not edit this manually. Use the r8_config.exe inside the game root folder and run it as Administrator.
