This is the trickiest part.
On base-level Kangoo ZE vans (Business trim), the “Top” screen is smaller and monochrome. On these models, the Service Reset Top is done exclusively via the steering wheel stalk holding procedure while cycling the ignition three times (Key dance). Try: Ignition ON → Hold Trip → Ignition OFF → Ignition ON → Release Trip.
The Kangoo Z.E. has a separate warning for coolant degradation. This appears as a thermometer with a water drop or the message “Check coolant” every 5 years. This cannot be reset with the wiper stalk. renault kangoo ze service reset top

Warning: If you reset the battery coolant light without actually changing the coolant, the battery cooling system may eventually develop galvanic corrosion – this voids the high-voltage battery warranty.
If you cannot clear the service reminder manually, you may need a diagnostic tool. Note that generic OBD2 scanners (like a basic BlueDriver) often fail on the Kangoo ZE because they cannot talk to the Top Screen ECU (Telematics module). This is the trickiest part

The Kangoo ZE has a traditional 12V battery that powers the electronics. If this battery is weak (below 11.8V), the ECU goes into “safe mode” and will not allow a service reset. Put the 12V battery on a charger for 2 hours, then retry.
