Qu-pad For Windows ◉ <SIMPLE>
For users who want cloud sync, Standard Notes is the best option. While it doesn't have the "outliner" view by default, the "Folders" extension and "Supernote" editor allow you to replicate the Qu-pad hierarchy across your phone and Windows PC.
If you want the authentic, original experience, follow these steps: qu-pad for windows
Install: Run the installer. It will likely attempt to install to C:\Program Files (x86)\Qupad\.
Ignore DLL Errors: Upon first launch, you may encounter a missing DLL error (like comdlg32.ocx). This is because modern Windows lacks classic Visual Basic runtime files. You will need to download and install the Visual Basic 6.0 Runtime library (available via Microsoft's official support site) to make Qu-pad function.
Important Security Note: Because Qu-pad is abandonware (no longer updated), it has known security vulnerabilities regarding file handling. Do not use Qu-pad for Windows to open untrusted .txt or .rtf files downloaded from the internet. Use it strictly for local, self-created notes. For users who want cloud sync, Standard Notes
