“People think San Diego entertainment is just Coachella-lite,” says event photographer Jenna Kuo. “But our nightlife has grit. I’ve shot burlesque at The Lafayette Hotel, punk rock in a converted warehouse in Barrio Logan, and salsa dancing under string lights in Old Town.
