For volume license editions (ProPlus, VL), KMS clients reactivate every 180 days. If they can’t reach the KMS host, they fall back to “activation required” state after a grace period.
Not all “activations” are permanent. Open Word → File → Account. Look under “Product Information”: office activado pide activaci%C3%B3n

If you see “KMS” or “Volume” and you are not in a large organization or school, your activation method is likely unsupported and will fail again soon.
