While technically a Cheat Engine table (requiring Cheat Engine software), this is often bundled with "save wizardry." It allows you to scan your active memory, but specific scripts allow you to "save edit" by freezing values. nfs unbound save editor

EA logs "unusual earning rates." If you were Level 5 at 2:00 PM and Level 50 with $20 million at 2:01 PM, their server logs will flag you. While they rarely ban purely for money editing (they prefer to sell you MTX), they will reset your online progress to zero.


A save editor is a standalone program (not a mod installed into the game folder) that reads your 1.save file (typically found in Documents/Need for Speed Unbound/SaveGame/), decodes its encrypted data, and lets you tweak specific values. After you make changes, you save the file, and the game loads your modified progression.
