Mcgs Hmi Touch Calibration Site

Proactive engineers calibrate the HMI before sending it to the field. You can embed calibration data directly into your MCGS project using MCGS Embedded Configuration Environment (MCE).

Best practice: Enable this for all new deployments. It allows operators to re-calibrate without needing a mouse or hacking the OS.

If calibration resets after reboot:

This works for the majority of MCGS models, including the TPC series and newer TPC Pro series.

What if the screen is so misaligned that you cannot press the Start button? You need a USB mouse. mcgs hmi touch calibration

Critical Warning for Wince: After calibration, do not perform a "cold boot" (full power cycle) immediately. Windows CE saves calibration to RAM first. You must perform a "warm reboot" via the Start Menu or wait 30 seconds before cutting power.

If the screen is completely unresponsive, you can force calibration via the development environment: Proactive engineers calibrate the HMI before sending it
