Log in to Topix (JLR’s service portal) and check your VIN. One TSB (LTB01796v3) specifically addresses B13C2-49 and recommends a fan replacement for versions before module hardware level “H”.

If the NVM is logically corrupt (not physically dead), a forced reflash using a USB stick (downloaded from Jaguar Land Rover TOPIx) will overwrite the corrupted sectors. This has a 70% success rate.


A: Yes, but the screen may overheat and shut down. In extreme cases, module damage can occur. Short trips are fine; long road trips in summer are risky.
