Update 25 Fixed — Kilekos Star Wars Collection 30

The John Williams alt-takes have been re-ripped from a different copy of the magnetic reel, then run through a declicker and phase-correction algorithm. The static is gone. What remains is a crystalline recording of the Jedi “Victory Celebration” theme before it was shortened for the film.

If you’re searching for the download, here’s the official method:

System requirements unchanged: 16GB RAM recommended for large fleet battles.

“Finally. I’ve been following Kileko since Collection 15. Update 25 is the first time I’ve finished a 6-player LAN without a single crash. It’s glorious.”SithLordTactics (ModDB user)

“The desync fix alone makes this mandatory. If you quit SWC30 because of bugs, come back now.”RebelScum88 (Reddit)

“My only complaint: the AI is too smart now. I got flanked by the Separatists on three fronts. That never happened before.”ThrawnFan (Discord) The John Williams alt-takes have been re-ripped from

Kileko has stated this will likely be the last stability patch for Collection 30, as development shifts toward a potential Collection 31 (or adapting to Sins of a Solar Empire II natively).

On October 15, 2024, Kileko pushed Update 25 to Collection 30. Immediately, the fan forums (Reddit’s r/starwarscollectors, the OriginalTrilogy.net forums, and Kileko’s own Discord) exploded—but not for good reasons.

Every file now includes an SHA-256 checksum. A automated script scans your local copy against Kileko’s master manifest. If even one bit is off, the script re-downloads only that file instead of the whole folder. The response has been overwhelmingly positive

Update 25 wasn’t about new content. It was about excision. The previous updates (22–24) had added cross-era compatibility, letting the Resurgent-class fight the Lucrehulk. But they’d also introduced a cascading ID conflict. The game’s ancient memory allocator (a relic of the 2003 Jedi Knight engine) was mixing up two seemingly unrelated assets:

Every time Mara Jade used her Force Speed ability, the engine accidentally triggered the TIE sound loop, which then tried to load a non-existent particle effect for an ion trail. That particle effect called a corrupted texture from the original Force Unleashed beta. That texture—named betrayal.dds—would finally overflow the stack and crash to desktop.

The symptom was Ackbar’s voice line because the crash often occurred during fleet battles, and Ackbar’s dialogue file was the last thing successfully loaded before the memory heap collapsed. A perfect, maddening red herring.
