Bematech does not provide a native macOS driver. You must use a virtual machine or Windows via Boot Camp.
Once the full ZIP driver is installed, follow these best practices:
Click Have Disk > Browse.
Navigate to the extracted ZIP folder > Open the Drivers subfolder > Select the .INF file (e.g., BEMA_MP200.INF).
Click OK > Select "Bematech MP 200" from the list > Next.
Name the printer (e.g., "Bematech MP 200 Full") > Deselect "Set as default printer" if not needed.
Click Finish.
Some older POS software requires a serial (COM) printer but you only have a USB connection. The full ZIP includes a Virtual COM Port Emulator:
