Before running the installer:

Copy the entire contents of your AutoCAD 2000 CD to a folder on your desktop, e.g., C:\ACAD2000_SETUP. Do not run setup from the CD.

Double-click the MSI file. If you are lucky, the installation wizard will launch.

Note: You will likely see an error: "This installation package is not supported by this processor type." If this occurs, proceed to Method 2 or 3.

Launch acad.exe. You will likely see one of two things:

Don’t panic. This is the display driver issue.

AutoCAD 2000 expects a legacy license manager. We will bypass it by creating dummy folders.
