You can use either method. Use Method 1 if you can access the phone's menu. Use Method 2 if the phone is frozen, locked, or won't turn on properly.
Press and hold the Power button for about 10–15 seconds until the screen goes black. If the phone is frozen and won't turn off, remove the back cover (if removable) and take out the battery. Wait 10 seconds and put the battery back in. Note: If your Itel A48 TOP has a sealed battery, hold the Power button for 20 seconds to force a shutdown.
This is the easiest method. Use this if your phone is still responsive and you remember your screen lock password, pattern, or PIN.

Step 2: Scroll down and tap on System (on some Itel UI versions, this may be labeled "Advanced Settings" or "Backup & Reset").
Step 3: Look for Reset options. Tap on it.
Step 4: Select Erase all data (factory reset). You can use either method
Step 5: You will see a warning listing all the data that will be removed (your Google account, system settings, apps, music, photos, etc.).
Step 6: Scroll down and tap Reset Phone.

Step 8: Finally, tap Erase Everything or Confirm.
The phone will now restart and begin the reset process. After a few minutes, the Itel A48 TOP will boot to the initial setup screen (language selection). Congratulations, your phone is now like new.
