Standalone GPS lock times have dropped from 60+ seconds to under 20 seconds in open areas. More importantly, the firmware fixes the “track meandering” issue—routes are now tight and accurate. Outdoor run mode no longer auto-pauses erratically, and swimming mode correctly tracks laps without mistaking arm turns for strokes.
