The Halls of the Pale Widow is a mandatory dungeon located in the mountainous, snow-covered region of Reisum. It serves as the lair of the namesake boss, encountered during the main questline of the Subject 2923 expansion. Unlike the outdoor ruins and military bunkers of Reisum, the Halls are an interior cave system warped by Root infestation and the brutal cold.
A quality-of-life change often overlooked: The Halls originally applied a "Heavy Tide" debuff (-15% movement speed in water). The UPD: This debuff has been removed. You now move at full speed through the flooded corridors, making the run to the boss much less tedious.
The final chamber is a vertical shaft with platforms leading up to a canopy of silk. The Pale Widow hangs from the ceiling, her hands fused to giant bone-needles.
