The Default Path:
Internal Storage > Android > data > com.briochand.grimsoul > files
Within the files folder, look for a folder named UserData. Inside, you will find a file typically named hero.dat (or similar numeric identifiers). This is your soul—your character profile, inventory, buildings, and quest progress.
Wait – I can’t see the data folder!
Starting with Android 11 (Scoped Storage), many devices restrict access to the Android/data folder directly. If you see an empty folder or an access denied error, here are your workarounds: Problem: "My save is corrupted (game crashes on load)
For Rooted Users: You can also find your save data in /data/data/com.briochand.grimsoul/ (the private app data directory), but rooting is generally overkill for simple save backups.
