| Mode | Role | Key Card | Verdict | |------|------|----------|---------| | S-Tier: Disintegration Beam | Ranged AoE | Laser Focus | Your only reliable answer to shielded swarms. Use until level 5. | | A-Tier: Force Field | Damage mitigation | Kinetic Buffer | Negates one big hit per round. Essential for scenarios with boss-type enemies. | | B-Tier: Plasma Shroud | Melee skirmish | Charged Edge | Decent damage, but forces you into danger. Only use if party has no frontliner. | | C-Tier: Reconstruction Beam | Healing | Repair Protocol | A trap. Prism should never heal. Your HP pool is a resource to spend for tempo. | frosthaven prism guide
Goal: Keep Orbital Cannon alive and buff its damage. Key Cards: Targeting Optics (L1), Overclock (L3), Photon Beam (L7). Playstyle: You sit in the back. Use Mode Switch to summon the Cannon. Use Overclock's bottom to give it +2 Attack. Use your own top actions to shoot. If an enemy approaches, Mode Switch to Hard Light Conduit, kill it in melee, then switch back. Pros: Safest build. Highest single-target damage. Cons: Boring. You ignore half your kit. Not all Modes are equal
