If you own ETS2 on Steam (which 99% of players do), you do not need to scour shady websites. Steam allows you to "downgrade" to any previous version instantly.
Step 1: Launch Steam Open your Steam client and log in.
Step 2: Navigate to Your Library
Go to Library > Games. Right-click on Euro Truck Simulator 2. Download Euro Truck Simulator 2 Version 1.32
Step 3: Open Properties
Select Properties from the drop-down menu.
Step 4: Access the Betas Tab
Click on the BETAS tab. This section is designed for developers, but it works perfectly for players.
Step 5: Select Version 1.32
In the dropdown menu labeled "Beta participation," you will see a list of patches. Scroll down until you find:
temporary_1_32 - 1.32.x for incompatible mods. You have completed the download
Step 6: Automatic Download Close the Properties window. Steam will immediately begin downloading the 1.32 files. Steam may label it as an "Update," but it is actually downgrading your game.
Step 7: Block Future Updates (Crucial)
To prevent Steam from auto-updating back to 1.32, go back to Properties > UPDATES. Change "Automatic updates" to "Only update this game when I launch it." Always launch the game via the .exe file in the folder, not the Steam "Play" button.
