Asure ID 7 is not freeware. You need a valid license key (usually found on a yellow sticker inside your Fargo printer box or in your HID portal account).
Once you have successfully completed the download, follow these installation steps:
Step 1: Disable Antivirus Temporarily
Some antivirus programs flag Asure ID’s database connectors as false positives. Disable real-time protection for the installation duration.
Step 2: Run as Administrator
Right-click the downloaded .exe file and select Run as administrator.
