8.63 Patch - Deep Freeze
Version 8.63 (and its specific sub-build patches like .020 or .030) was primarily a maintenance release. Users running older versions (like 8.10 or 8.30) were strongly encouraged to patch up to 8.63 for the following reasons:
The patch is not available as a standalone "update only" file in all cases. Depending on your licensing, you have three pathways.
@echo off :: Silent patch install for Deep Freeze 8.63 :: Run as SYSTEM or Adminset PATCH_MSI="DeepFreeze_8.63_Patch.msi"
msiexec /i %PATCH_MSI% /qn /norestart ACCEPT_EULA=1
:: Check exit code if %errorlevel% equ 0 ( echo Patch installed successfully. ) else ( echo Error %errorlevel% - check %temp%\DFPatch.log )
For Enterprise Console:
Deploy via DFC.exe /installpatch="\\server\share\patch.msi" /silent
