The Chromeleon license file is a cryptographically signed text file (typically named Chromeleon.lic or license.lic) that unlocks specific features of the software. Cause: The license file does not include a feature for the specific instrument you are connecting (e.g., an Agilent 1260 II).
Fix:
Cause: The client workstation cannot see the License Server on the network (firewall or DNS issue).
Fix: The license file is fine; the network is the problem. Ensure port 27100 and 27000 (default FlexNet ports) are open between the client and server. Backup the Old License
