Cem Dual Mig 140t

Some versions of the CEM 140T include a "synergic" knob. You set the metal thickness, and the machine automatically adjusts voltage and wire speed. If your unit has independent knobs, the control panel remains intuitive—voltage on the left, wire speed on the right, and a digital display for amperage.

Most welders in this price range don't offer TIG welding. The CEM Dual MIG 140T includes a lift-start TIG function (DC TIG only, for steel/stainless). Using the optional torch and a separate argon regulator, you can perform precision welding on thin materials. Is it a replacement for a dedicated TIG machine? No. But for tacking up frames or welding bicycle lugs, it’s an incredible bonus feature. cem dual mig 140t

We tested the CEM Dual MIG 140T on both voltages with .030" solid wire (C25 gas) and .035" flux core. Some versions of the CEM 140T include a "synergic" knob

| Item | Why | |------|-----| | Good quality contact tips (0.8mm) | OEM tips wear out fast | | Teflon liner | If you weld aluminum (but 140T struggles with Alu) | | Better earth clamp | The stock one is usually weak | | True voltage regulator | If your line voltage fluctuates | | Small cylinder of Ar/CO₂ mix (75/25) | Much better than pure CO₂ | Most welders in this price range don't offer TIG welding
