Partially. It includes exploded diagrams but not the full Parts Catalog (that’s a separate document). The parts catalog has order numbers; the service manual has removal steps.
The service manual frequently references the Service Support Tool (SST). This software is required to flash firmware, reset counters, or change system software. Installing SST is part of a complete service setup.
Assuming you have obtained the legitimate package (e.g., iR2425_SM_V1.0.exe or a zip folder containing .dmg data), follow these steps:
Click Install. The process takes roughly 2–3 minutes. Once finished, you will see a desktop shortcut labeled "Canon iR2425 Service Handbook" or "SST Launcher."
Do not just leave it in your “Downloads” folder. Create a dedicated folder:
