For forensic analysis or extremely low-level repairs, BOOTICE includes a hex editor that lets you view and modify raw disk sectors. Warning: This is for experts only; one wrong change can erase your partition table.

Despite the binary being fully functional in English, we discovered a non-exported dialog box (ID: DLG_4231) containing Simplified Chinese text that references "USB Windows 7 Installer Maker." Version 1.3.3.2 includes support for UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface), allowing users to manage GPT (GUID Partition Table) disks and modify UEFI boot variables to some extent.
