Install — Autodesk Revit 2022

  • Select Components: Expand the list. Essential ones:

    • Gone are the days of physical DVDs. Installing Revit 2022 is managed entirely through your Autodesk Account.

    Usually due to slow HDD, internet download of content packs (if “Download from web” is selected), or antivirus interference. Use the offline installer. Autodesk Revit 2022 Install

    The installer finishes, but the job isn't done. To ensure a stable working environment, execute these steps immediately: Select Components: Expand the list

  • Configured Options > File Locations for templates, family, and backups.
  • Set user interface preferences (UI scale, graphics mode).
  • Enabled Hardware Acceleration and set Graphics to “Use Hardware Acceleration” if stable.
  • Configured Backup settings: increased backup copies and set central model save frequency for BIM teams.

    • Once the download is complete, the installation wizard handles the heavy lifting, but there are choices to be made. Gone are the days of physical DVDs

  • Step 3: Content Selection Revit comes with massive "Content Libraries" (families, templates, and MEP materials).

    • The Autodesk Revit 2022 install isn't truly done until you activate the license and apply hotfixes.
