If you have an older Mac with an Intel processor (models released before late 2020), running ArtCAM is relatively straightforward. Because the processor architecture matches that of Windows PCs, you have two reliable options:

  • Use a Windows PC for ArtCAM (simplest if available).
  • Use alternative macOS-native software with similar features (see section 5).
