Aot-4221sr Firmware Update -

There are usually two ways to update firmware:

Method A: Web Interface (Network)

Method B: Serial/Console Connection (If Network is unavailable) aot-4221sr firmware update

Before downloading any .bin file, complete these five steps:

  • Stable power source
    The AOT-4221SR draws 12W during a firmware flash. If using PoE, ensure your switch provides 802.3at (30W). For DC power, use a regulated 24V supply – battery-backed is ideal. There are usually two ways to update firmware:

  • Network isolation
    Disable any VLANs or port security on the switch port connected to the AOT-4221SR. A momentary loss of link during the upload phase can corrupt the flash.

  • Backup your configuration
    System → Backup & Restore → Export Config. Save the .conf file locally. Some older firmware versions reset to factory defaults after an upgrade. Before downloading any
