Akruti 7.0 is a professional Indian language word processor developed by Modi Infotech Pvt. Ltd. (formerly known as Softech Infinitive). It is part of the Akruti family of software, which pioneered phonetic typing (typing as you speak) for Indian languages long before Google Input Tools or Microsoft Indic were mainstream.

The software supports major Indian languages including Hindi, Marathi, Sanskrit, Nepali, Konkani, and Sindhi (using Devanagari), as well as Gujarati, Punjabi (Gurmukhi), Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, Oriya, Assamese, and Urdu.
For Hindi and Marathi, Akruti 7.0 provides a decent spell-checker and a basic thesaurus, improving accuracy in long documents.
